A guardian angel to those who come under her care, Dr. Angela Ziegler is a peerless healer, a brilliant scientist, and a staunch advocate for peace.

Mercy was patterned, designed, and built entirely by myself for the Blizzcon 2023 Community Cosplay Competition, and qualified for the live finals.

After a complete rebuild in the spring of 2024, Mercy won Best Video Game Cosplay at Anime North 2024.

Wings and supplementary armour pieces are 3D printed. Bodice, shoulder armour, and neck armour are handpunched and hand sewn from marine vinyl that was thrifted. The front sash is hand dyed bridal satin with handsewn on gold leather trim. The pistol, staff, headband, and the majority of the wings are 3D printed. The blades of the wing are laser cut acrylic. The band of the halo is resin casted from a 3D printed blank. Most armour attaches with magnets. The wings are mounted on a back plate containing an Arduino Uno that controls individually addressable LEDs in each feather for animations. All underclothing was also sewn by myself, including a fully boned corset to help bear the weight of the wings.
